I made the Grand Finale on July 27th

Step 1 top 1000 of each daily freeroll gets to step 2
Step 2 top 1000 of each of the 5 Steps 2's goes to the fianle
Grand Finale July 27th
600 - 10 $50
9 - 8 $150
7 $200
6 $300
5 $400
4 $500
3 $750
2 $1000
1 $20000 + $15000 weekend trip to Vegas (3 nights and the Venetian,

Like any other freeroll with 5000 runners.

as always, play as tight as you can get away with.

i try to play super tight until i see how the others like to play.

then i realize its online poker and there is a big win from this forum
every year or so.
This forum is the largest and there have not been many big stars winners
from here.

Why is that so few people who win are from this forum ?

The advice here is often good, we arent all idiots.

Online poker is impossible for me to trust.

Sites jerk us around on payments even though they accept our money. They
edit hand histories.

I havent even started on ub/ap/kannawanturmoney injuns

Good luck winning anything significant online.

I am sure you wont encounter collusion unless the house owns a few seats
at the table.

So play tight and let the other suckers lose to the cheats. You get
cheated last that way and it pays more.

If perchance the game is honest, playing tight exposes you to losing a lot
less. My thinking has always been let everybody kill each other. I'll
watch, and finish higher than some of the overly aggressive russian
roulette players.

In your game the payout is so lopsided that lasting doesnt really matter
as much.

Maybe i would go allin as a BET whenever I surely have the best of it and
if i were to call I'd have ak or better.

Good luck

So Stay the hell out of the way with out top 5 hands for the first 2
levels then play a tight agressive style making them pay dearly for their
draws. Steal mercilously on the bubble trying to get a huge stack for the
FT.

Get lucky! Smile

I played one of those massive 10k freerolls on Stars a few years back and
won the thing and recall having good hands on the flop, but was behind and
coming back to win those hands aprox 1 in every 20 or so hands I won.

Luck is INDEED a factor.

So here it is:

Good Luck!

A hearty Stanley Cup Champions
BOOM byae
John

Like a winner-take-all tournament... in other words, it's
a cash game.

Thanks, The first 2 steps were easy, I let the idiots knock each other
around for the first couple levels, Played ABC poker to win enough pots to
stay above average and when we went H4H with 1010 left I folded everything
and let the shorties fall away. I was never in the top 250 players but
never below average. This will have to change.

Bill Chen and Greg Raymer have been active participants in
RGP. Perhaps you've heard of them? They were both active
here long before they won bracelets.
