PM Harper to unveil Conservative platform today. Considering the
vote is next Tuesday, I'd say this qualifies as a curious strategy.
It's seems Harper got caught flat-footed by his own early election
call. I'm going to go out on a limb and say he doesn't get that
majority gov't he was hoping for.

I saw that and found it hilarious since the advanced polls have been open
for 3 days. Hell I voted last Friday.

I think that's a pretty safe bet.

The conservatives are morons. I could have created a strategy that would
have very likely won a majority government, recession or no recession.
Harper et al seem to be tryign to shoot themselves in the foot.

Hey Paul

Can you name the 4 choices for Prime Minister and the parties they
represent?

I bet every Canadian can name the 2 choices for President and their
parties.

Despite what Gilles Duceppe says, in a 5 party system it is at least
mathematically possible for him to become PM.

What's with this Prime Minister shit? Are you going to tell me that all
this time I did not know you had one of those instead of a President? Ok, I
admit that even Popinjay still has some things to learn in life. So like,
is your Prime Minister married to your Queen or are they separate? And who
is your current Prime Minister anyway? Isn't it Kevin Trudeau or something
like that?

yes even though they are a non national party it is mathmatically possible
but the Bloc would have to sweep Quebec and I don't see that ever
happening.

You are no where near as dumb as this post makes you out to be.

You guys are just trying to turn this into a legitimate thread. Forget it,
it's not going to work, and it's going to remain a pathetic little ATTEMPT
at being a real RGP thread. Ha! Canadian politics? Oh, that's a good one!
You guys crack me up.

Well, we have to thank Canada for the troop they sent to help in Iraq;
until they pulled him out. Everyone over there in Iraq says he was nice
guy.

Fell, please confirm that I am correct in saying that in this latest "war"
we have not supplied a single troop to Iraq.

Once you factor in the metric system, it's actually around 10
posts.

We never sent any troops in an official or offensive capacity. We may
have sent a few (literally a handful at a time) troops as attaches to
diplomats.
