You live in a country where tipping is not expected and the pay scales of
dealers is therefore higher, reflecting that.

> I have kids to feed to

Given your attitudes, I feel sorry for them.

> People who EXPECT tips are just rip of
> merchants

No. They're just people putting in a (usually) honest days work. If it
weren't for the tips, they wouldn't be receiving enough to live on.

Another example would be casino cocktail waitresses. In Las Vegas, there
is typically no charge to players at the table for drinks. The casinos
typically CHARGE the cocktail waitresses $0.60 per drink, which they must
pay for out of their tips. Are you suggesting that a cocktail waitress
that is not willing to work for a loss of several dollars per hour is just
a rip off merchant?

Maybe you're right. Maybe they should be willing to pay a net fee of
several dollars an hour for the privilege of waiting on people. (Of
course, I don't know how THEIR kids are supposed to eat.)

Then again, maybe you're just an asshole who is willing to make
denigrating judgments on people over situations that you have not even
begun to understand.

Agreed. Arlo, what's up with all the hate? You're the guy that goes to
the casino in his pajamas. Wasn't the hippie motto "make love, not war"?

This post seems very much unlike you. Even if you don't approve of Cincy,
I would think that you'd keep that to yourself.

No, massage girls are selling the fantasy that they might bang you.

Generally, if I'm playing poker, I'm not fantasizing about the dealer.

on rare occasions, if she's really hot, yes, but that's outside the scope of
the discussion.

Substitute massage-person for those that are not into infantile fantasy.

You sure can miss the point, Beldin.

That was actually to Russ. That said, you are obviously are an idiot.
Since you brought my son into it I can only hope you attend BARGE so I can
kick your ass. This isn't an idle threat. If you attend BARGE I am kicking
your ass. That's a promise. What you said was uncalled for. It will be
dealt with.

I'm not gonna get into an argument with you for the next months leading up
tp BARGE, either. I'm not even gonna mention it after this. I will go to
BARGE. I'll have someone point you out to me. I will introduce myself and
ask you to step outside. I will then proceed to beat your ass.

Carry on.

Dont ever think of sending a threat my way again or calling me an idiot again
when you hav e no idea what you are talking about boy.
Trust me if I consider you a threat it will be dealt with at once in a very
direct and final manner.  You may want to stop your crap before your mouth or in
this case your fingers get you way over your head.
So you say you will be at barge.  Interesting perhaps DK will be they also he
owes me a few favors.  Russ knows who DK is and Russ will tell you DK will do
almost anything I ask him to.  Trust me you don't want to see me at barge after
your threat.
Once again NEVER call me an idiot again when it is you that has their head up
there ass.
I am just sick of you and those that also think it is OK to insult people
online.
I never said one bad word to you and in fact supported you in the past.  But
after your slander attack you are on your own.

So not tipping makes you a bad person. Well, I can give you a few stories on
this. About 8-10 years ago, I was playing in Europe and signed up for the
Baden-Baden Tournament in Germany. I play cash games and the buyin was 5000
German Marks (same as $3,000 US). I always sat with 50,000 in Marks, while the
others had much less.

Though it was a time game, though you had to pay to eneter the casino, they
still had a mandatory 2% tip on every pot. Now I'm very aggressive and the game
was PLH. I was in pot after pot of 10,000 marks or more with the players.

I'd win some, lose some. Many pots I only tipped about 1%, about 60 Marks or $36
dollars. Yes, the player were bad. The tournament was to run for a week and they
only had one big game. After three days, I was EVEN, though I had tipped in
excess of 10,000 Marks ($6,000 US). On my fourth day, they didn't find my name
on the list:), becauuse I only tipped 1% many of the pots.

This is basic in Europe excpect when Big Tournaments are running. Even in
Austria, you have to pay 100 Euro to enter the casino to watch while a
tournament is going. But, you get a buffet.

Here's a story of a BIG SHOT TIPPER that was taught a lesson. I went and played
at Garden City in the Bay Area about thirty years ago. I met a chip girl there
and asked her out. She told me to see her the next week as she was breaking up
with her boyfriend and moving.

The next week I came up and met her at her new place. She had to work that night
and I went to play. I had bought her a nice present (expensive). Now she was a
chip girl and food server and VERY CUTE. I ordered and when I went to pay, I
tipped her about $5.00 on about a $20 bill. Now, out comes a big mouth, thinking
he'd embarrass me. He'd never seen me before and had no idea I had just moved in
with this girl, who he apparenetly had asked out nmerous times.

Out of hs mouth comes, Is that all a high roller like you can tip a beautiful
girl like that"? I then told him, whaever you tip her, I'll tip 5 times as much.
Now the 'BIG SHOT' came with $1,000 and laughed. I when into my pocket and out
came $5,000.

Later, when we got home, we both made $500. I love 'big shots' with big mouths.

Boy you are a very big tough man.  First starting a fight with a person with a
heart conndition and hitting him will get you 10 in the pen.
Second why in the world do you thiink I would go to barge.  I have never in the
past I dont even know where or when it is.
You make one more threat towards me or call me an idiot again without reason (
as you did when you started this) you just might find someone at barge looking
for you tough guy.
Now cut your crap before you learn to regret it.  You are not in my league boy.
Oh and it WAS NOT Russ it was YOUR reply to my post that started this.
You call me names for no reason I will attack back and hard.

Your words:

My god you're a blathering idiot. "Toke away a new car?" Please...just
stop. A fucking $1 a pot! Give me a fucking break.
