Probably just haven't had experience with it. I put up with the side
effects of V, makes my head feel like its under some pressure, if I have a
lightly congested nose it gets fully congested, have to keep meals to a
mini mun, even a small meal feels like a bale of hay in my stomach,
because it has that effect in other places that everyone likes. I guess
this has to do with its action on the parasympathetic nervous system.
Wouldn't want to have that going for 24 hrs, but I'll have my buddy send
some Vitamin C up and see how it makes me feel.

i would say very common for those that know about the action of the drugs.
i know plenty of Docs that give them out for reasons "off the books".
One of the most common reasons is for stage fright, during talks or other
kind of performances. It really is a safe drug so I don't see anything
unethical about it. Pretty good if you need to take a lie detector test
too, but lots of times those come with a drug test these days.

I think I remember reading that V was originally developed at the
University of Arizona as a weight loss medicine- it blocks the chemical
that signals your body that you're hungary and starts the digestive
juices rolling. The dose for hunger control is huge, but the dose for
the desired side effects isn't.
