Cincy's shove reminded me of one I did a few days ago with JT. 1st hand
after the 1st break, I'm at a table I got moved to maybe 1-2 hands before
the break. I make a 'folks are still in the bathroom so i can steal their
blinds' raise w/JTo and get called by the button. I probably play well
after the flop.

New table, no reads?
Hmmm....4x clubs is unlikely but possible I guess. AT/KT/QT are all
possible, as is T9. Club draw + overpair is pretty likely. Only hand
you're really ahead of here is something like A9.
Seems like a pretty easy fold. So the call seems pretty dumb.

Worth a shot.

Good continuation bet.

2325 in the pot before his raise plus his raise is 6150. Pot's laying
about 2 to 1. What range of hands did you put him on? Would he make this
play on a flush draw or two overs? If you fold you still have over 4000
chips. Personally, I wouldn't make this call if I was on a steal, hit top
pair bad kicker, and ran into a overbet all-in. Just call me a pussy here.

Calling an all in and raising all in are 2 different things. This is an
easy fold and doesnt represent at all what I did with JT.

True. There is a world of difference between pushing with the TJ and
meekly calling someone that called the preflop raise AND check raised you
their stack on the flop.
I dump the hand, and if it was a steal, well played sir. You're still at
the break with 4000 chips which is more than double, and probably about
1000+ chips ahead of the average.

I didn't meekly call, calling was the most aggressive action I could take.
Also, he didn't checkraise.

You called an all in. That IS the weakest play you can make in poker
without the nuts.
NH, dipshit.

Dunno, sure as shit looks like a checkraise to me. He checked, you bet, he
raised all in.
Yeah, that's a checkraise all right.

Man, I need to. I already posted that I misread it, though.
I still dump it though, but that's just me.
