Could someone give me some pointers on how to tell if another player
has a full house? I know that if the board pairs up, then it is
possible. However, that seems to be the extent of my knowledge. In
answering, don't waste time with the obvious, like the board tripping
or two-pairing. It's the subtle FH's that I can't seem to detect. I
get burned by this a lot. Thanks in advance for your help. I have
been playing seriously for about three months. >> Stay informed about: HELP NEEDED! I can't read a full house! |

Call him to the river. When he flips over his cards, look at them. If he
has a pair and trips, then he has a full house.
Hope that helped.

Yeah it can never hurt to ask, trick is say it like this, "Do you have a
full house also?"
As long as you don't have a full house it's all good.

The board pairing is the only possible way to have a full house. Plain and
simple.
So if the board prs..go cautiously if it is not paired no full house is
possible.

I agree entirely with this post. I just want to add that if the board pairs
on the flop, you should have considerably larger pot odds to draw for a
straight or flush since you may be drawing dead. This condition may make it
infeasible to draw under almost all circumstances. But if you do draw, be
certain it's to the nuts. >> Stay informed about: HELP NEEDED! I can't read a full house! |
