Hi Gang,

I've decided to model my poker playing style around Jamie Gold. I
think he is simply the best player around, and I think those of you
who know a thing or two about Poker will definitely agree with me.
Does anyone have any tips? Does anyone know how he can put the whole
table on tilt just by talking? That's the kind of behavior I want to
emulate, assuming I am smart enough.

Thanks guys!

Just play loose and passive and tell everyone what you actually have
as the betting rounds come. Playing every hand is also a good start
along this golden path.

"Does anyone have any tips?"

Have a very large bankroll. BTW, I give you a 1.5 on the troll-meter. I
would have given you a 1.6 but you didn't use the words "psychological
advantage".

I'd say it just takes practice. Start talking the table and see what you can
get away with and what reactions you get.

When I was a child I used to look forward eagerly to Bonfire Night, and
spend all my pocket money for about two months beforehand on fireworks, so
as to be ready for the big day.

As something of a miser, every night just before bedtime I would unearth my
hoard for a grand recount. I especially enjoyed rereading the instructions:
"Light the blue touchpaper and retire immediately". Sage advice.

Its not hard. Just walk in, and make sure that the deck hits
you.......

REPEATEDLY

And make sure that after the deck has been hitting you for a while
that it does it again, and again, and again, and again, and
again......

And after that, make sure that the deck keeps hitting you even
more.....

That way, you will show the rest of the world what dumbasses
they all are, and what a true poker genius you are.....

EASY

ENOUGH SAID

I see this tried on a daily basis. LOL. Sometimes it's funny..most of the time,
however, it's sickening. It's like sucking up camera time on steroids.

I see this in $1/$2 N?L Hell, I even see Phil Hellmuth thinkers in $2-$4 limit
everyday.

LOL.

WTF would anyone want to model themselves after Gold? I'll tell you why. Because
when they look into their poker playing soul, they have 'no game'.

Damn sad. But these donks keep the industry afloat...so God Bless them.

Heh. I'm sure when Jason turns 21 and gets into a casino he will realize this.
He will realize that he will be giving more than receiving.

Honest, Jason.

Poker has really morphed into something I couldn't have possibly imagined. But
it's all good. Things change, that's all. *not*

LOL.

Someone pretty much already nailed it, but you want to do the
following:

a. Get hit with the deck and win a bunch of money in a big tourney
and slowley leak it in cash games
b. Talk more when you want a call
c. Be completely disliked, by not only the players you play with but
a majority of players who take the game seriously
d. Grey the line between friendly banter and the rules of the game to
make it look like you are just trying to be friendly when all the
while you want to take ALL the other players money
e. Lack the necessary component to fold a hand

er... the Jamie Gold 'talk it up' tactic looks stupid, dude. Gold should have
had disclaimers added to HSP stating.. "DO NOT TRY THIS YOURSELF!"

LOLOLOLOL. The higher level you try this, the more stupid and wannabe you look.
Players will actually tell you to SFTU. I've seen it. Right before the person
who acts like Jamie is felted. LOL. This is some funny shit to watch, man.

LOL.

Yes, this will work. But Jason wants to act like Jamie Gold by talikng it up. He
may not realize the deck is hitting him. To busy talking. Heh.

Does Gold have a poker site that has him for an endorser?

Just 3 easy steps

1.   Remove 3/4 of your brain
2.   Flop a pat hand every time you have a 6-8 off
3.   Promise to split winnings  with sick people, and sponsors , then stiff em
