I wasn't involved in this hand and it's not a bad beat story, well, at
least not for me it isn't. Situation is 5 handed NLHE cash game.
UTG with a $120 stack raises to $8. It folds to the SB who has $115 who
calls, BB folds.
Flop is 3s Td Th.
SB checks, UTG bets $16, SB gobbles to $32, UTG jams, SB calls all-in.
Name the hands.
Bonus question: turn 9c, river Jc, who wins?

SB has TJ, UTG has 33, SB sucks out the higher full house at the river.

Deerstalker on. There's a beat, but not to you. There is also an idiot
in the hand, or it wouldn't be "donktacular." Elementary that someone has
the 10 and the other idiot sucks out with a straight or possibly a set of
jacks. On the theory that idiots are more likely to jam against strength,
I'll say that UTG was the sucker outer and SB is the suck outee.
Deerstalker cap off.

I agree with this analysis, and we all know why.

Is it something that wouldn't make a material difference, like a pocket
pair lower than eights, or is it something funnier like A3 instead of
A9? Maybe A3 vs. 99?

Based on clues given. A-J vs 8-8? Jack sucks out on the river. Certainly
fits the subject line. >> Stay informed about: Morphy's Donktacular Quiz for Tuesday 7/22/08 |

I also fancy the AJ vs. 88. Makes no sense, but my second choice would be
the A9 vs. 78 (sooted of course).
