I've never played in a tournament or satellite and I have questions
about tipping the dealer(s).

I assume that after a tournament it is customary to tip the dealer(s)?
If there is more than one dealer (which I'm sure is the rule) does the tip
go into a tip pool? What is the customary size of the tip? Am I wrong
in assuming that only the players who get money back tip the dealer(s)?
Maybe only the winner of the tournament?

Concerning satellites I have the same questions.

If you get in the money in a tournament you should tip the dealers. A
common amount would be 3-5%. The money goes into a pool and is divided
among the dealers depending on how many hours they dealt in the tournament.
Please do tip in tournaments as every minute a dealer spends dealing it is
lost money for him as he makes a lot less than he does dealing cash games.
