Post subject: absolute poker steals my money accuse me of chip dumping Please HELP

Im new to this site not sure if i posted this in the right scetion.
I recently played high stakes on absolute poker heads up tables. 25-50.
I played for just under an hour and won about 4k off this maniac. He just kept
betting and folding i guess missing his draws.
I goto cashout 1 day down the road. Everything seems fine they say they need 48
hours to process the cashout which is fine. 72 hours pass and i recieve no email
or nothing, so i decide to log into my poker account. When i goto login it says
login ID not recognized. I know i was inserting the right password and login ID.
So i email support, after 24 hours of no responce i search the internet for a
toll free support number and finally find one. After calling them on the phone
they said they are investigating into my account and i will receive an email in
24 hours. So i wait again only to find out that they do not e-mail me. Now today
comes along and i call them explaining the situation. I speak to someone named
adrian from security at absolute poker. He had gone ahead and told me that my
account had been closed becuase of chip dumping. I was completly shocked. First
time i cash in for big money online there was nothing illegal done on my end.
The big question is what can i do to recover my funds. Im very heated up about
this situation. I already planned on paying off some of my o.s.a.p loan with
this money and now i stand to lose the money i intiatally deposited off my
credit card. Can someone give me some suggestions on the whole situation.

25/50 - 4K in an hour. I guess he didn't win any hands.

Sounds to me like spammers sticking up for
their raked poker affilate. I woudn't trust raked
poker sites as far as i can spit. Their has not been
one story of WPX being not honest. I'll play at WPX,

There is nothing anyone here can do to help you. It is between you and
Absolute. If the 'maniac' dumped chips to you, whether you knew it or
not, Absolute will not being giving you the money. It would be no
different than me robbing a bank, then depositing the money into your
account to hide it. The bank wouldnt let you keep it.

Read the terms and conditions or contract you agreed to but probably
didn't read when you opened your account. Were you violating those terms
and conditions? had you ever transfered money to or from this maniac? Is
it someone you know? Were you playing heads-up, SH or FR? If the maniac
was truly a stranger to you and you have no other connection to him, keep
fighting. Ask for a written explanation of where they believe the chip
dumping occured and deny it vehemently.

This is not a web site, this is a usegroup. There are no sections. You
are posting in the right place.
At least you weren't accused of chimp dumping.
It is my understanding that PokerChimp was apparently dumped off at
Stars quite a few years ago by some other poster...and now look.
PokerChimp learned how to speak, write, play cards and is now a regular
contrubutor to this group.
Just Say No!! to Chimp Dumping...

I guess I just don't have that criminal bent to me, but I don't see the
issue here.
The Maniac - has chips, he either paid cash or won them from someone who
did. Either way they belong to him. If he wants to play like a nut and
give it all away, even if it's specifically to one player, what's the
problem? It's his money. They were playing on a high stakes heads-up
table. Why is this an issue?

Clearly chip dumping took place, whether Jon had any knowledge of it or
not. His opponent wasn't "missing draws". Perhaps a jilted girlfriend
got hold of the ex's password and cleaned him out. Regardless, you
have no alternative but to plead your case. The casino's decision
cannot be legally challenged.

HIs opponent had deposited $4,000 using a stolen credit card or a Neteller
InstaCash that bounced or some other such scam. A transfer is transparent and
the room will block the cashout until the deposit clears. So, they dumped the
chips in a heads up room.
They were the first scammers to ever think of this and I can't imagine how
Absolute Security figured it out.

You may be right about it being a dump but why not give the OP the
benefit of the doubt. He says he won 80BB in an hour playing heads-up.
This is not an impossible thing even at 25/50. Even if his opponent
was using a stolen card and decided to play like a complete moron, it
does not necessarily mean that the OP knew about it. His opponent was
going to lose it to someone, right?
The OP may have a motive for his post. Maybe he was scamming. Maybe he
hates absolute poker. Or maybe he just wants the $4,000 he believes he
won fair and square.

Sites have considerable information available to them, when
investigating these cases. IP addresses both public and private, records
of machines players have logged in from, all of the hole cards, history
of all previous games played.
The OP claiming, "He just kept betting and folding i guess missing his
draws.", is completely unrealistic and not believable. How many hands
did the maniac win, how many times did the maniac fold. I suspect the
maniac won zero hands.
The OP lacks credibility. He provided no evidence, no hand histories,
nothing. He is the one, making serious and public accusations that can
hurt an online business, without providing any evidence.
He should not be given the benefit of the doubt until he provides some
