Layne Flack was broke, so Binion's gives him credit of over 50k in the
dice pit in 2002 if I'm not mistaken. Layne Flack just happens to win
2 events at the World Series that year in 2002. George Fisher was the
new head of Poker at that time and they changed the shuffle to make
cheating far easier. That year they only needed two moves to in a
shoot out event to win millions in tourney money. The next year the
deal and shuffle was changed back to the original. Becky's and Benny
needed the cash.
Who in their right mond would loan a broke Layne Flack money to play
dice with, if they didn't know they were getting it back? I doubt
Layne could have qualified for a credit card at the time.
Anyone who plays against players being staked by the casino or house
are idiots anyway.
Nobody stakes a person without some reason and most (if not all) want
a return on the money. We'll put an 'IF" here. If FT were cheating,
this would be a good way to skim money. They can say the player is
supposed to win, so that's why he does. Yet if he's supposed to win,
why can't he borrow more money? Here he is on a leash and the site has
full control.
