Network & Software
The poker room was opened in 2003, and in 2005 Expekt decided to switch network from Prima to Tain. This caused a lot of problems for the poker room and it was down completely for two weeks, seriously damaging Expekt Poker's reputation among the poker players. In 2006, Tain merged with Tribeca and iPoker and the result was a new, large network by the name iPoker. This change ran much more smoothly and was an important step in restoring player confidence in Expekt Poker. iPoker uses software from the well known software developer Playtech and Expekt Poker is today a very user friendly poker room that is fun to play in. Also, iPoker has grown to be the largest poker network in Europe. You can play up to 16 poker tables at the time at Expekt Poker.

Some of the most popular transaction methods for deposits and withdrawals at Expekt Poker are VISA, Neteller, Moneybookers, Webmoney and bank transfer. MasterCard can only be used for deposits.
