As well as most everybody's daily trip to the grocery/drug store. I'm
seeing a couple people in my neighborhood using golf carts to cruise up to
the store and this isnt some type of retirement community, its just a
regular neighborhood and the police dont seem to be stopping them.
Everybody should be doing something similar.

How many of those golf carts had $30K price tags?

About as many as win, when rear-ended by a mercedes.

The Aptera is 25k, I believe.

It's also a problem because of the current cars on the road. I wouldn't
want someone I cared about driving that thing on any of our 55-65 back
roads, and forget about the freeway!

I mean, seriously, you get in a little collision with an SUV in that
thing, who wins?

Now, if we could just get the government to require us all to drive
these tiny, tiny cars.... I joke, I kid!

<That might be what's coming down the pipe though... I sure hope not>

Cheers.

I'm guessing that doesn't apply to this particular $30K vehicle...

http://www.myersmotors.com/index.html

...which is, after all, the one under discussion.
